Starting Class

I stopped my belly dance class since June, it's been three months already. Today I'm going to start joining the class again to maintain my body weight, I've been gaining Kgs these past few months. I think for this year, I gained two kg already (it's really alarming, what a scary thought) and my weight keep on climbing the ladder never goes down really.

I want to gain back my 50kg weight and maintain it and hopefully I can achieve my goal before I hit the big 3-0.

Hip Scarf - Belly Dance

I have two belly dance hip scarfs. The first one I bought from my belly dance instructor and the second one I bought from ebay.

Although the one that I bought from my belly dance instructor is cheaper, but the quality is not that good. The fabric is chiffon and as you can see in the picture, it's a very thin fabric and transparent. The hip scarf that I bought from ebay is a soft velvet fabric and gives a distinctive feel.

The number of coins for Hip Scarf (2) is 258 so the sound of the coins is louder and richer compared to the one I bought from my instructor.

I tried to get clear pictures while wearing the hip scarf to compare both, hopefully the quality it's not that bad. I wanted to buy new camera to get better image, but as for now, these will do :)

Haah... I'm gonna buy another hip scarf! Shushh.. don't tell him... hahaha. There is one I've been eyeing for quite sometime now. It's pink, velvet and 320 coins! This time I'll choose gold coins. Why pink? because there's none in my class has this colour, mostly black with gold or silver coins and a few red and purple.

Belly Dance

I joined belly dance for the first time yesterday and I love it! I took the 3x weekly per mth classes and the fee is rm100. My class would be on Monday (5.45pm), Tuesday (6.30pm) and Friday (5.45pm).

When I went there last night, there were 8 to 9 people already waiting for Ms.Ira, our dance instructor. Most of them have the hip scarf coin wrap, there's black, purple, red and yellow.

It's nice to see the bling-bling from the coin and the sound it made with just a slightly movement from your hip.. it's sexy I must say.

Belly dance is indeed full of colour and shining thing, it's not complete without accessories...
