Healthy Me: Herbalife

I should be posting this early this year, because that's when I bought it. I did a post about herbalife here in March and explained about my health regime program there. After that two weeks program,  there were five of us and each paid rm676 for the whole set, we need to buy at least 5 sets to get the 35% discount for next purchase. So, next time, when I want to purchase Herbalife product, using my boss name, I can get the 35% discount ^^

I purchased the 2L bottle, really love this bottle, I use this everyday to make sure I consumed 2L of water.
The bottle has printed-volume indicator so you know how much have you consume.

The whole set consist of 4 items.

Herbal Aloe

Tea Mix (100g) in Lemon and Hibiscus flavour

The Tea Mix has two flavours:

• Lemon and Hibiscus (comes in 50g and 100g bottle)
• Peach (only in 100g bottle)

I have tried both and I love Peach flavour more :)

Formula 1 (Dutch Chocolate flavour) + Formula 3 (Blended Soy and Whey Protein Powder)

Formula 1 has five different flavours that you can choose from: 

• French Vanilla
• Dutch Chocolate
• Strawberry
• Tropical Fruit
• Cappuccino

I have tried all flavours during our two weeks programme in the office, and of course chocolate has always been my favourite, followed by Cappuccino and Tropical Fruit.

This is my health regime for weight loss management from my previous post:-

• 1st glass - Herbal Aloe Concentrate [? + 400ml water]
• 2nd glass - Tea Mix [1 small spoon + 400ml water]
• 3rd glass - Formula 1 [2 big spoon] +  Formula 3 [1 small spoon] + 400ml water
• 4th glass - 400ml of plain water.. you'd be running to the restroom after drinking 1.6 liter of water continuously (=__=)"

I drink the shake during lunch and dinner time. I eat my regular meal at breakfast.

Function:

1st glass : improves nutrients absorption, enhances intestinal health

2nd glass : Drinking this tea is like having 30minutes exercise

3rd glass : replacement for food! Consume during lunch hour, it is advisable to not take food 4 hours after taking the shake 

Although there has been a lot of 'talk' about the ingredients in Herbalife products, but personally, I do trust them and will continue to take it. The weight loss programme really help me to control my eating habit and also my water-drinking pattern. 

I'm a lazy person when it comes to drinking water, I only drink water when I feel thirsty, but after I follow Herbalife programmed early this year, I started to make sure to drink water at least half the bottle (my 2L Herbalife water bottle). I feel more energize and healthy :D

Delicious Sunday Dinner

I have the tendency to write blog for a few occasions and post it one after the other. Let's just say when I'm in blogging mood, then my brain works concurrently with my hand.

Kota Kemuning area.

Hubby and me were having this delicious dinner on last Saturday night. This is my favourite eating place in Kota Kemuning, err I don't know the name of the restaurant (will update the name later). Looks like nothing special, these pictures just don't do it justice.

We ordered three dishes.

Where did the Crunchy Potato Wedges go?

Party Play, I'm loving their crunchy potato wedges. My last visit there, I ordered only potato wedges and here it is. The sad thing was it's not that crunchy anymore! It become the normal-potato wedges like the rest. I was disappointed. I don't know, either they changed their cooking style or the chef was different that night emm...

CNY Holiday!~

During Chinese New Year holiday, we went back to my hubby hometown from 20th till 28th. The whole week I was there, hubby granted my everyday wishes which was.. durian, durian and durian! Just that, it was more expensive to buy durian in town, around rm10/kg and above, whereas I can buy durian in KK for just rm4/kg! But yeah, I still want it and hubby is really a sweetheart! :D

Tatura Cream Cheese @rm7, Khong Guan Saltcheese Biscuits @rm3, evaporated milk @rm2

Sis-in-law made this layered cream cheese biscuits using Khong Guan Saltcheese Biscuits, Tatura Cream Cheese and evaporated milk. She mixed the cream cheese with milk until it become a smooth paste. She placed the biscuits on first layer and then layered it with the paste.  The thickness of the layered paste depends on you, I like it not too thick because I don't want to feel like I'm eating cheese cream only. There, you have your layered cream cheese biscuits!

After that, just put the layered cream cheese biscuits in the fridge and leave it for at least three hours to allow the biscuits to absorbs the cream cheese paste. The longer you leave it in the fridge, the better it taste. If you eat it within the three hours fridge time, you will eat two things, a biscuit and cream cheese, not layered cream cheese biscuits. I know this because I tried it hehehe...

This is really yummeh-licious biscuits lapis ever!

The taste was so yummehlicious and no, it's not sweet. It looks sweet but it's not because we used evaporated milk and my sis-in-law put the milk just enough to sweeten it.

Slice the layered cream cheese biscuits into small pieces and make a hot cup of coffee, there.. my afternoon will be so.. satisfying :)

One more unique thing that I found during my stay this time was this. Mum-in-law used these 'periuk kera' and put half cooked sticky rice in it and then steamed it until the sticky rice is fully cook!

How amazing these are! I never knew such method exists, I thought periuk kera is only to look-look and see plant. 

About the taste, was it any different from the usual cooking method? I can't really say yes, because I didn't find the taste urm.... strongly different? It was still sticky rice taste. The periuk kera did give a slight aroma to the rice which was pleasant and savory smell, I don't know how to describe it but you won't noticed it anyways if no one told you it was cooked using periuk kera. I noticed the aroma because I was trying too hard to smell it, lol!

Too bad, I woke up late that morning, so I didn't managed to see how mum-in-law cook the sticky rice and put it in the periuk kera. I woke up with food ready on the table... everyday actually, hehe.

Chocolate and Butter Orange Cup Cakes

I bought these at my office, the cake seller was selling it from door to door, floor to floor.

The chocolate cup cakes were super yum-meh! 

I don't want to buy it at first because I had lunch and quite full. But the cake seller brought it to my office room and I felt bad for him not buying anything. Plus it's chocolate and was only rm5 a box.

Totally worth it. Thinking back now, it's quite cheap for a yummylicious taste with only rm5 for three cup cakes!

Can you believe this cup of hot nescafe o is rm1.80?? The price was ridiculously expensive for a hot nescafe with sugar with that small size, jeez... It's not a high end restaurant or what, this is just some food court at some shopping mall, huh.. Thank goodness, at my workplace, they sell hot nescafe o at rm1 :)

Raw Salmon, how I love the taste

After I finished my Christmas shopping for my family, I was so tired to cook for dinner, so I went to ehem.. Recipe House, it just happened that I was also craving for Salmon at that moment. They sell fresh salmon in a packet and the price is according to the weight. I chose rm25++ fresh salmon and ordered rice (rm2), Miso soup (rm2) and a cup of hot ocha (rm1.20) is all I need.

What's in this bag? These are for my sisters and ma Christmas dresses! I will upload the pictures around Christmas day :D

I used to eat here when I worked at my previous company three years ago. After I joined my current company, I never eat here anymore and also because we found a new favourite place which is Hana. My current rented house is just a few minutes walking distance to this place.

A date with hubby on the 12th Nov, Saturday was spent by watching movie, The Immortal at Sunway Pyramid. While waiting for the movie to start, went for window shopping and I spotted this small stall selling ice cream. Not just any ice cream, it's Green Tea ice cream.

I really love it! Hubby said I finished the Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream in just 3 minutes? Oh I don't know, I was busy enjoying my green tea ice cream :D

After I finished my Matcha Green Tea ice cream, I saw another stall selling ice cream also, it's Kindori Ice Cream, with more than 10 choices of ice cream flavours, hubby and me tried 2 of their ice creams.

Verdict? Chocolate Banana & Morello Cherry were not that yum-meh, especially the Morello Cherry, it has strong sour taste and definitely not my cup of ice cream. Well, they did mentioned no food colouring & preservative free plus they use blast frozen fresh fruit, that's explain why the strong sour taste for Morello Cherry and.. the expensive price tag.

I may be biased, because I love green tea ice cream always, since the first time I tasted it two years ago at Hana Restaurant.
